An organisation like SIM can not exist by itself it needs the support of fellow Christians in New Zealand and around the world. You can become involved very easily, by either reading our magazine to become aware of what is happening in the world, praying for our missionaries or financially supporting them.

The SIM motto is "By Prayer" which signifies that we believe that only way we can make a real difference in this world is through the faithful prayers of our missionaries and there supporters back at home.

SIM chooses to exist by faith which means that the missionaries and the New Zealand staff rely on the faithful support of followers of Jesus who believe in overseas mission. Almost all of our funds come from personal gifts that are given by loving, committed and often sacrificial supporters.  As well as this we receive interest on funds invested and benefits from legacies.

Behind all this are the prayers of God’s people – praying that the God of all the earth would move amongst all people.
