Evangelism and Church Growth
SIM is devoted to developing relationships with people. After the seed of God’s Word is planted and bears fruit, discipleship continues through local churches, where new believers can seek Christian growth.

Education
SIM teachers provide instruction for missionary and expatriate families and children from the local community. Whether in SIM schools or government-run schools, this daily interaction provides many opportunities to present Christ to students.

Children and Youth
As a mission, SIM is concerned for children and young people in the context of families, churches and communities. In many countries we work in, more than 50% of the population is under the age of 15. Their needs are diverse and challenging. At the same time young people are often the most spiritually receptive in their communities. Working with them through youth clubs, homework clubs, feeding programme's and outreach to street children and young people can build a strong foundation for discipleship.

Linguistics, Translation and Literacy
SIM is dedicated to furthering the gospel through linguistics, Bible translation, and literacy programmes. Through the efforts of missionaries and local Christians, many people are experiencing the joy and freedom of being able to read and of knowing God’s Word in their own language.

Theological Education
Local churches need leaders. That’s why we send men and women to teach in SIM seminaries, Bible schools, and Theological Education by Extension (TEE) programmes.
