Where Can I Go?
This page links to the SIM International Site

SIM works in more than 40 countries in three continents. Click on one of the links below to explore countries.

Asia
The Asian countries SIM works in are home to 45% of the world's population. Major religions include Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

The church is small and struggling in many places and needs tremendous support as it copes with persecution and poverty. Evangelism and church planting often move slowly — perseverance and dedication are required.

SIM missionaries are training new leaders and preparing them to share the Good News with the communities around them. They are also helping people improve their situations through many development projects.

South America
South America is a vibrant, developing sub-continent with many opportunities for progress. But affluence and poverty live side by side. Though most nations were evangelised more than 300 years ago, there are still vast numbers who have never heard the true gospel.

SIM concentrates most of its work in large urban centres. In partnership with the church, it trains and develops leaders while responding to the deprivation that seems to be a by-product of large cities.

Africa
The church in sub-Saharan Africa continues to grow at a phenomenal rate. This has resulted in tremendous needs in discipling, training, theological education and leadership development.

Many people groups still remain unreached, and poverty, deprivation and exploitation continue to haunt many countries.

SIM is helping the Church respond to the great human need that exists, including the AIDS pandemic.
